Colombia Territory Regional Sales Director Position

Regional Sales Director Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador. This includes identifying, qualifying, and capturing tactical sales opportunities that align with Gigamon's strategic objectives.
You will command and manage all aspects of the sales process through to closure, utilizing your advanced knowledge in cybersecurity and cloud sales, as well as networking knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales quotas through the development of new customers and growth of existing accounts
- Sell new and existing products, discover new opportunities, and secure incremental business
- Drive high levels of client communication and engagement, building customer champions
- Travel as needed within the territory to achieve sales and business development goals
- Conduct effective sales calls and meetings to create, nurture, and close new business opportunities
- 10+ years of experience in a related area or an equivalent combination of education/experience (cybersecurity, networking, and/or cloud is a must)
- BA/BS in Business, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Able to succeed with little or no close supervision
- Proven customer and channel relationships in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location.
