About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Colombia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in our territory, developing and implementing strategic plans to increase sales and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Grow Key Accounts: Identify and develop key accounts in the territory, responsible for maintaining and increasing volume levels with existing assigned accounts.
  2. Implement Innovative Account-Based Marketing Plans: Develop and implement innovative account-based marketing plans and activities to drive growth and engagement with key accounts.
  3. Selective Targeting of Strategic Customers: Selectively target strategic customers in the assigned areas, instituting fresh programs and improving communication between ViewSonic and the target companies.
  4. Develop Strong Relationships with Key Decision Makers: Develop a strong relationship with the highest levels of management within each assigned account, translating this relationship into an ability to go to the top when instituting programs and initiatives.
  5. Maintain a Well-Defined Sales Strategy: Maintain a well-defined sales strategy for all accounts in the defined region, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  6. Effectively Manage Inventory and Credit: Effectively manage inventory levels, returns, stock adjustments, and defective return ratios, as well as manage all required credit memos and follow-up documentation.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Grow skills to and maintain a high level of job and product knowledge, competition, teamwork, communication, creativity, productivity, time management, career development plans, ongoing sales training, etc.
  8. Support Senior Management: Support the General Manager and upper management by assisting in reviewing and/or modifying existing strategies and tactics, establishing and maintaining good communication with all levels of the organization.
  9. Contribute to Future Budgets and Marketing Programs: Contribute to the development of future budgets, working with corporate to reduce expenses and maintain maximum levels of operational efficiencies, as well as contribute to the development of future marketing and sales programs.
  10. Attend Trade Shows and Sales Events: Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, participate in sales events, conduct product training, and do executive-level presentations as required, with extensive travel as needed to fulfill job requirements.
Requirements
  1. BA/BS Degree in Marketing or Business Administration: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or other relevant discipline.
  2. Working Proficiency in English: Working proficiency in the English language required.
  3. Minimum 5 Years Sales Management Experience: Minimum five (5) years sales management experience in a Computer Hardware industry, specifically managing distribution and channel accounts for computer displays, projection, digital signage, VDI, or related products.
  4. Demonstrated Ability to Promote Growth: Demonstrated ability to promote growth in territory/account and drive growth in POS.
  5. Passionate about Technology: Passionate for technology, with working knowledge of how to service, sell, and support projects within target accounts.
  6. Self-Starter with Excellent Communication Skills: Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate, detailed records.
  7. Channel Sales & Manufacturing Experience Preferred: Channel Sales & Manufacturing experience is preferred.
