About the Role

Ansell is a leading global provider of protection solutions, dedicated to designing, developing, and manufacturing a wide range of protection solutions that meet the ever-changing needs and demands of our markets and industries.

Responsibilities
  1. The Medical Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving the annual sales budget assigned for the Territory, determined by the Regional Sales Manager. He/she will effectively maximize the resources under his/her responsibility and produce the necessary results.
  2. Closing relationships with heads of nursing and surgery in hospitals and surgical centers, opening sales opportunities inside and outside the operating room.
  3. Demonstrating in operating rooms the performance of hand protection equipment to healthcare professionals in major hospitals nationwide.
  4. Responsible for suggesting adjustments in distribution network, proposing new distributors when and where needed.
  5. Monitoring competition activities and providing relevant information to the company.
  6. Monitoring the territory assigned, identifying opportunities and risks due to market/economy trends, as well as regulatory issues that could affect our business.
  7. Supporting the distribution network by providing training necessary to have the sales team updated with Ansell information.
  8. Responsible for keeping updated the information in Salesforce system.
  9. Directing technical processes for large projects assigned and penetrating the market in the territories designated.
  10. Getting to know the products and services that the company has through training, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  11. Managing the efficient administration of the products mix, new products, and positioning of the Ansell brand values to all customers.
  12. Sharing information about the regional market, implementation of new products, and customers with the Marketing and Procurement Department.
  13. Providing solutions and support to end-users through calls and training.
  14. Participating in workshops, trade shows, and general exhibitions.
  15. Complying with the company's rules and procedures, maintaining the equipment and workplaces clean, and looking after the preservation and organization of the tools and equipment under his/her responsibility.
Key Position RequirementsEducation
  1. A professional with a degree in nursing, health, or related fields.
Job Experience
  1. Mandatory:
    1. Knowledge of Medical Health, Safety, and Environment.
    2. Experience in risk assessment and training.
  2. Desirable:
    1. At least 4 years as an Account Manager – Salesforce.
Knowledge and Skills
  1. Office 360, especially Excel proficiency.
  2. Basic financial mathematics.
  3. English, minimum Intermediate, able to communicate either written or spoken.
  4. Interpersonal communication.
  5. Oral and written communication.
  6. Ability to speak in public.
Desirable Job Competencies
  1. Advanced English / Salesforce.
  2. Postgraduate in Medical Health, Safety, and Environment.
  3. Risk Assessment and Prevention / HazMat emergency management studies.
  4. Sales Competency.
Additional Requirements
  1. Travel on assigned territory by land for customer portfolio service, unless air travel is approved by the company.
  2. International travel for Congresses, Training, etc., as needed by company needs.
  3. Typically, spends 40%-50% of time in FTF and calls with end/user, 20%-30% with distributors, and rest in administrative work (Salesforce, reporting, etc.).
