Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the relationship management with key Airline partners across the LATAM region, with a primary focus on the Brazilian market. Your responsibilities will encompass nurturing and expanding partnerships, supporting current solutions and services, and managing commercial engagements to drive revenue growth in collaboration with Pre Sales, Customer Product & Solutions, and Customer Success Management teams. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and profitability while contributing to the enhancement of Amadeus's market presence and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Strategic Accounts:
1) Cultivate a robust and trustworthy relationship between strategic Airline accounts and Amadeus IT and Distribution Teams.
2) Address and resolve issues and complaints from strategic accounts.
3) Facilitate effective communication between strategic accounts and internal Amadeus teams.
4) Ensure the financial health of accounts by collaborating with Finance to resolve billing and invoicing inquiries.
Retain and Expand Market Share:
1) Employ a consultative selling approach to understand client needs.
2) Identify and address specific requirements and expectations of existing clients.
3) Discover new opportunities and propose tailored solutions to Airline partners.
4) Develop and maintain customized Strategic Account Development Plans (SADP) for each Airline partner, ensuring all opportunities are documented in the CRM.
Oversee Commercial Matters:
1) Process operational requests from Airline partners efficiently.
2) Ensure optimal utilization of Amadeus technology by customers, achieving established performance and service metrics.
3) Communicate new product and solution releases to customers promptly.
4) Collaborate with IT Sales, Pre Sales, Customer Product & Solutions, and CSM teams to enhance the IT portfolio.
5) Organize regular business reviews and in-depth sessions on specific topics.
6) Work closely with Revenue Operations to secure approvals for business cases related to renewals and market share development.
Knowledge and Communication:
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current product portfolio and the benefits of specific products for each Airline partner, alongside up-to-date insights on industry trends, strategies, competitors, and pricing.
Ensure that external communications regarding strategic accounts are aligned with top management and adhere to the established communication plans. Provide valuable feedback to Pre Sales and CSM teams to refine communication strategies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Airline IT and Distribution or with a vendor serving large airline clients.
- Bachelor's degree with a proven track record in sales, business development, or related fields.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for customer engagements and industry events.
- Strong ability to build positive and influential relationships.
- Experience in airline industry technology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
