About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Link Worldwide. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our existing customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Sales and Profit Growth: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth, exceeding individual sales and profit budgets.
  3. Account Planning: Create and implement effective sales action plans for key accounts and regional customers, ensuring timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service.
  4. Communication and Presentation: Provide professional presentations to customers, communicating order status, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  5. Product Development: Collaborate with the Operations team to develop new products and concepts, based on customer briefs and market trends.
  6. Order Management: Produce accurate customer quotations, ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals, and follow up on all quotations distributed to generate orders.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  8. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor's promotions and activities, sharing information with the sales team to ensure achievement of objectives and budget.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Analyze management information, financial and sales reports to ensure achievement of objectives and budget, and submit all requested reports to the Sales Manager in a timely fashion.
  10. Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate creativity, share new ideas with peers, and maintain a motivated and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in the promotional goods industry, with a strong team attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  2. Skills: First-class organizational skills, a pro-active approach to managing projects, experience of working as part of a team, and a keen eye for detail and understanding of budget restraints.
  3. Personal Qualities: Ability to work under pressure, maintain a cool outlook, and cope with pressure and work to tight deadlines, with a personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport.
  4. Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, and excellent problem-solving ability.
