We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Ecolab. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and service growth in the food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and service/consultation goals with new and existing customers.
- Provide industry expertise to customers on sanitation, safety, quality, and operations, including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, and employee training.
- Manage Ecolab products and equipment, participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, and monitor product inventory and place orders.
- Implement agreed-upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Corporate Account Managers of results, challenges, and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff, build strong business relationships, and networks.
- Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in dairy, food, or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- 2 years of technical sales experience in the meat, processed food, dairy, and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector.
- Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout the territory, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed.
- Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role.
- Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
- Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multinational customers.
- General mechanical ability.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
