About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in assigned countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Global Segment Managers to define market channels, pricing policies, product portfolios, and profitability in assigned countries.
  • Provide regular reports on area sales and training activities, and support the Sales organization in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Request sales forecasts from assigned countries to inform production planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar sales leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of automation and drives, as well as experience working with distribution channels.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, with the remaining time spent in the office or remotely.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and results-oriented approach.
  • Fluent English language skills, with intermediate-advanced proficiency in Spanish, and desirable intermediate level of Portuguese.
