At LHR Americas, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joint venture transactions and be able to evaluate transaction proposals, manage the execution of projects, and lead negotiations and structuring of transactions.

Job Overview:

  • The Business Development Specialist will work closely with our client to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve growth.
  • Responsibilities include conducting due diligence on target companies, performing valuation of target companies, developing negotiation strategies, and managing all aspects of transaction execution.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for assembling initial offerings to potential investors, leading investor selection activities, and coordinating with internal subject matter experts to draft Memorandums of Understanding/Letter of Intent.
  • In addition, the Business Development Specialist will ensure compliance to process stage gates and approvals, approve contract payments and variations within limit, provide administrative direction and personnel management to assigned Business Development Analysts, and perform other miscellaneous duties as directed.

Benefits:

  • A competitive monthly base salary, aligned with company employees with similar skills: $12,000
  • A monthly overbase of 25% of monthly base salary: $3,000
  • A benefits supplement of 20% of monthly base salary after 3 years of service, increasing to 25%, 30%, and 35% after 6 and 12 years respectively: $2,400, $3,000, and $4,200
  • A severance package (2-year vest period) with 2 weeks' pay for each year of service, increasing to 4 weeks' pay after 5 years: $12,000 - $24,000
  • An employment tax exemption for income taxes in your home country, with the company not reporting income to the 'home country' governments
  • An employee share purchase plan (ESPP) eligible after 12 months of service, with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay and a 20% share discount: $1,200
  • An incentive plan based on performance, approximately 1.8 times monthly base salary: $21,600
  • A travel allowance of approximately $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old
  • Vacation & paid holidays of 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays
  • A medical/dental plan with complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members, with subsidized in-Kingdom dental services
  • An educational assistance plan (EAP) with 90% of expenses reimbursed up to 5 times monthly base salary or the company max ($48,500), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets for undergraduate college-age children, with 2 round-trip economy air travel tickets for college-age children
  • A settling in allowance of one-time payment of 100% of monthly base salary for family status and 60% of monthly base salary for single/bachelor status
