Strategic Business Development Lead for Mergers and Acquisitions

At LHR Americas, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Lead to support the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and divestments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, financial valuation, and transaction structuring.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work with one of the world's largest producers of hydrocarbons. As a Strategic Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for evaluating transaction proposals, managing deal execution, and providing administrative direction in the development and review of legal documents.
You will be part of a dynamic team that combines market discipline with a long-term view of the future. Our client is committed to maximizing the value of the energy they produce for the world and enhancing value to society.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct due diligence on target companies and perform valuations based on different methods.
- Draft Non-Binding Offers (NBOs) and develop negotiation strategies.
- Negotiate and develop definitive agreements.
- Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including selecting and working with advisors.
- Assemble initial offerings to potential investors and coordinate with internal subject matter experts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program.
- 10-15 years of experience in business development, including 5 years of M&A transaction execution.
- Strong M&A background, extensive experience in financial valuation, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.
- Adequate understanding of financial analysis, commercial principles, and different types of transactions.
- Estimated monthly base salary: $12,000 - $18,000
- Monthly overbase: 25% of your monthly base salary
- Benefits supplement: 20% of your monthly base salary after 3 years of service
- Severance package: 2 weeks' pay for each year of service after 2 years
- Employee share purchase plan (ESPP): eligible after 12 months of service
- Incentive plan: annual, based on performance
- Travel allowance: annual, approx. $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia
- Vacation and paid holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, 11-13 paid holidays
- Medical and dental plan: complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities
- Settling in allowance: one-time payment, family status - 100% of monthly base salary, single/bachelor status - 60% of monthly base salary
