Salary

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses. This compensation package is commensurate with industry standards and reflects the importance of this role in driving business growth.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Analyst to support the screening, planning, analyzing, developing new business ventures, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects at our client's organization. The successful candidate will evaluate transaction proposals, actively manage execution, and play a key role in valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and structuring transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program.
  • An MBA and/or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not required.
  • 10-15 years of experience in business development, including at least 5 years of M&A transaction execution.
  • Strong M&A background, extensive experience in financial valuation and modeling, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.
  • Adequate understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, commercial principles, and different types of transactions.
  • Industry expertise and knowledge of specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs, joint venturing, project development, financial valuations, and modeling.

Benefits

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • A monthly base salary of $120,000.
  • A 25% monthly overbase.
  • A 20% benefits supplement after 3 years of service, increasing to 25%, 30%, and 35% after 6, 12, and 24 months, respectively.
  • A severance package with a 2-year vest period.
  • An Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) after 12 months of service.
  • An Incentive Plan based on performance, approximating 1.8x monthly base salary.
  • A travel allowance of approximately $8,200 per household member aged 11+ years residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
  • Vacation and paid holidays.
  • Complimentary medical and dental care through John Hopkins facilities for employees and eligible family members.
  • An Educational Assistance Plan offering 90% of expenses up to a maximum of 5x monthly base salary or $48,500, plus three round-trip economy air travel tickets.
  • A one-time settling-in allowance based on family status.
