Strategic Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive market insights and uncover business opportunities that align with our company's strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will encompass generating new business ideas, assessing their feasibility, and developing comprehensive business cases. You will engage with internal and external entities to stay abreast of emerging trends and lead cross-functional teams in developing business plans for new opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong analytical background, the ability to synthesize data into actionable business intelligence, and experience in financial valuations and modeling. Your expertise in strategy development, deal strategy, and market positioning will be crucial in identifying new business opportunities and driving successful transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a broad industry experience, including oil and gas, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure. A strong track record of originating transactions that resulted in successful deals is essential.
You will be required to present new business ideas to senior management, develop thought leadership reports, and continuously review and enhance the business origination process. In addition, you will mentor and coach junior staff members regarding skill development and the business origination process.
