Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and connecting with prospective accounts, speaking with decision-makers, and discovering their business objectives and challenges to qualify how Tipalti can help them.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Identify and engage with prospective accounts through outbound cold calling and following up with marketing-generated inbound leads.
- Qualifying Opportunities
- Consistently achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities and new meeting objectives.
- Product Knowledge
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Tipalti's product line and value proposition.
- Forecasting and Reporting
- Provide accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management team.
- CRM Management
- Update and manage activities, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce CRM.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
- Experience
- Working knowledge of CRMs (Salesforce preferred).
- 1+ years inside sales experience preferred.
- Experience calling into the CXO level.
- Proven Track Record with New Account Development.
- Skills
- Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives.
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
- Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills.
- Discipline to maintain high call volumes.
