The Role

We are seeking an entry-level Desktop Support Technician to join our IT department in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and setting up hardware and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and printers.
  • Support remote access infrastructure, including VPN and mobile devices.
  • Administer user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Manage and prioritize support requests via ticketing systems.
  • Document tasks and solutions to contribute to the knowledge base.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT support environment.
  • A diploma in computer science or a related field.
  • Active Directory and Exchange account management skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and remote access software.
  • Experience with Windows servers (2012/2016/2019) and Microsoft Autopilot/Intune.
  • Familiarity with networking principles and Windows domains.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
