The Role

We invite applications for an Account Manager Energy position, a full-time role based in Bogotá, Colombia, with a hybrid working model. In this challenging yet rewarding opportunity, you will develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives. You will be the primary point of contact for client inquiries, customer concerns, and feedback, taking ownership of revenue, profit/loss, and growth targets for assigned client accounts.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewal opportunities, enhancing the value of SoftwareOne's offerings for clients.
  • Supervise the progress of solution delivery, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Proactively identify and address any obstacles or challenges that may arise during implementation.

To succeed in this role, you will leverage SoftwareOne's resources efficiently to respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver valuable services. You will engage technical guides, consultants, and other relevant teams as needed to support client requirements. Additionally, you will continuously assess client accounts to identify expansion opportunities and enhance SoftwareOne's presence.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the energy sector within IT.
  • Management of accounts in IT service sales for the energy sector.
  • Skills in managing and strengthening long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the energy sector, including utilities, oil companies, and renewable energy firms.
  • Experience coordinating and delivering complex IT projects within agreed timelines and budgets, ensuring implemented solutions add value to the client.
  • Competence in communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at technical and commercial levels, across different levels of the organization.
