About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in wireless networking to join our team. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving critical technical issues, working closely with engineering teams to debug software and hardware defects.
Your expertise in wireless 802.11 protocols, WAP, and WLC will be crucial in isolating network issues and providing effective solutions to our customers. Additionally, your experience in scripting in Linux and system troubleshooting skills will be valuable assets in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Promptly troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues for customers
- Collaborate with engineering teams to debug software and hardware defects
- Analyze network data to identify root causes of issues
- Develop and publish Knowledgebase articles to share best practices with internal teams and customers
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or relevant experience in a technical field
- 7+ years of work experience in wireless networking
- Expert-level knowledge of wireless 802.11 protocols, WAP, and WLC
- Experience in scripting in Linux and system troubleshooting skills
