The Senior Technical Support Engineer - Network Security Specialist at Radware is a critical role that requires exceptional technical expertise and analytical skills. As the highest level of support and lead technical escalation resource, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to internal departments and resolving highly complex networking problems.
Key Responsibilities- Receive day-to-day instructions on outgoing cases and assignments, utilizing strong judgment to select the best methods and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Perform verification testing and recreate attempts on customer-reported potential defects or limitations, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex network environments.
- Assist Tier 2 and Tier 3 support engineering teams in troubleshooting and resolving highly complex networking problems, working collaboratively to drive results.
- Provide advanced configuration recommendations and assistance in customer deployments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Analyze data traces and debug using protocol analyzers to identify anomalies and determine solutions, applying your knowledge of network protocols and security measures.
- Hands-on technical experience preferred with internetworking/data center operations, including WAN operations, network protocols, TCP/IP, OSI Model, UNIX or Linux operating systems, VMware or equivalent hypervisors, and network hardware.
- Familiarity with public cloud setups, Azure, Amazon, Google, and proficiency with Windows OS and Linux.
- Able to work under limited or little instruction on routine work, demonstrating independence and initiative.
- Evidence of building strong internal/external relationships within a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, able to effectively relay technical information to internal customers of varying skill levels.
