About the Position

This senior role oversees global technical operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and strategic alignment with Werfen's corporate goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing service strategies to standardize solutions, processes, and tools across partners and customers.
  • Providing third-level support to distributors, including on-site installations, diagnoses, troubleshooting, and repair of complex instruments and systems.
  • Establishing educational programs for distributors to perform routine technical repairs, updates, and maintenance.
  • Serving as a liaison between Werfen and distributors, facilitating communication and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborating with sales counterparts to address distributor situations, provide updates, and drive lead generations.
  • Maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies, adhering to mandated policies, procedures, and records.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer in the healthcare sector, preferably in IVD.
  • Experience in people management, particularly as a technical service department head.
  • A good understanding of networking concepts, automation lines in laboratory environments, and software solutions developed by Werfen.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Estimate

We offer an attractive salary package in the range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
