Scope of the Role

The Chief of Staff (CoS) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the executive office. This individual will act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, managing day-to-day operations, overseeing projects, and serving as a liaison between the executive and other departments or external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic goals and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Conduct research and provide insights to inform decision-making processes.
  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and oversee major projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and goal alignment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects.
  1. Operational Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the executive office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement processes and systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and other administrative tasks.
  1. Communication and Liaison:
  • Act as a key point of contact between the executive and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across different departments.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the executive.
  1. Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to executive assistants and other support staff.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment within the executive office.
  • Identify opportunities for professional development and training for team members.
Requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably as a Chief of Staff or similar position.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
