Key Responsibilities
In addition to adhering to Epson America, Inc.'s policies and procedures, the Senior Pre-Sales Specialist - Sales Development will be responsible for:
- Providing specialized technical assistance and support for assigned product lines and collaborating with sales and marketing departments to develop and generate demand for new business.
- Working closely with the sales department to execute diverse strategies that contribute to reaching sales quotas.
- Supporting sales department visits and presentations to end-users, including pre-installation demonstrations of equipment when required.
- Assisting other countries in the region as needed and supporting the service and support department in pre and post-sales activities.
- Participating in internal and external training of applicable products and serving as a technical lead in addressing channel and end-users' technical issues.
- Designing and demonstrating proof-of-concept solutions based on established requirements and responding to customers, distributors, wholesalers, or subsidiaries regarding medium to high-level queries.
- Conducting installation courses, fault diagnosis, and first-level assistance, as well as reporting irregularities found in the operation of products that are not stated in technical notes or in respective manuals.
- Leading team demonstrations, installations, and reviews of equipment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Intermediate-level experience (5-8 years) in a related field.
- Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
- Ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
