Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary
As a key member of the Marriott International team, the Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes. This role involves reviewing financial documents, organizing and maintaining files, and recording computerized financial information. The successful candidate will also prepare and distribute financial reports, maintain employee payroll records, and provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters. A strong understanding of financial procedures and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify payroll information, including punches, hours worked, and pay adjustments
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports
- Organize and maintain employee payroll records and files
- Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, and benefit plans
- Perform batch adjustments to payroll and adjust basic settings in time clock systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Strong understanding of financial procedures and excellent communication skills
