Global Payroll and Benefits Specialist

The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the payroll and benefits function in the LATAM region. This will involve managing all aspects of payroll, including administrative tasks, compliance with regulations, and ensuring accurate data entry.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of payroll and benefits functionality.
- Reviewing payroll documentation and accounting reports for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
- Communicating with the extended HR team to ensure the integrity of payroll data, including data related to new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
- Researching and resolving questions from managers and employees regarding payroll information.
- Partnering with vendors to ensure timely distribution of paychecks and accurate payment of benefits.
- Managing employee attendance, vacation tracking, and leave management, maintaining accurate employment records and files.
- Liaising with Finance to ensure accuracy in payments and dates set by the company.
- Supporting the day-to-day benefits administration across the region.
Requirements include:
- 3+ years of experience running and managing payroll for multiple countries, with a strong background in one or two of the following countries: Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, regulations, and standards related to payroll systems and employee benefits.
- Proven experience managing HRIS and payroll integrations.
- Able to handle highly confidential information and sensitive matters.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, and organization skills.
- Strong background in Microsoft Office, with high proficiency in Excel.
- Must be extremely process-focused and detail-oriented, with a problem-solving mindset driven by data integrity and accuracy.
