The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who excels in a dynamic work environment. This role is essential in fostering exceptional experiences for both customers and colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the Genius Sports office, creating a welcoming, safe, and secure atmosphere. As the first point of contact for our daily office activities, you will uphold the highest standards of hospitality, efficiency, and experience curation. Main Responsibilities: Reception Management - As the face of our office, you will ensure that all daily operations provide an outstanding experience for both internal and external visitors. Your responsibilities will include managing reception, administration, security, events, maintenance, mail handling, archiving, cleaning, catering, exhibitions/tradeshows, waste disposal, and recycling. Facilities Oversight – You will oversee our office facilities and liaise with building managers and landlords. Assisting our Office Manager, you will contribute to refurbishments, maintenance, and workplace design initiatives to cultivate a workspace that inspires creativity and innovation. Safety and Compliance - You will advocate for the protection of our staff, brand, and products, ensuring that our office remains secure and adheres to data protection and other relevant standards. New Employee Integration – Supporting our Office Coordinator, you will facilitate the onboarding process for new hires from their start date through the completion of their training program. Collaborating with the People Team, you will help integrate new colleagues into the local office culture, organize events and inductions, and ensure all necessary equipment and paperwork are prepared for a smooth transition. Travel Coordination - You will manage company travel arrangements through our travel management system, crafting itineraries, securing reservations for transportation and accommodation, and proactively suggesting enhancements. Additionally, you will provide analytics and travel reports to optimize our travel programs. Event Planning and Employee Engagement - Collaborating with our Office Manager, you will assist in the conceptualization and execution of company events. You will manage budgets and supplier relationships, delivering events ranging from small celebratory lunches to significant meetings and team-building activities. You will also support our Marketing & Internal Communications teams in producing brand content that fosters engagement with the office and its team members. Administrative Support - You will take ownership of ad hoc requests or projects from Business Operations or other local teams. Required Skills: A strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating exceptional experiences for customers and colleagues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging with colleagues, customers, and external partners. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, effectively engaging with colleagues across various functions and levels of seniority. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a comfort with using technology to enhance your work.
