Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive customer support related to John Crane product portfolio
- Select, design, and install sealing systems, including mechanical seals and API support plans
- Design and implement filtration systems and couplings
- Develop and execute standardization projects to improve efficiency and consistency
- Generate detailed technical reports and documentation
- Conduct thorough failure analysis on equipment and systems
- SUPPORT Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives with customers to identify and resolve issues
- Offer expert advice and issue technical proposals for complex engineering challenges
- Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting support
- Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal personnel
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in mechanical engineering
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3 to 5 years of experience in quality, design, and/or engineering project execution
Knowledge of rotating equipment preferred
BASIC TO INTERMEDIATE Solid Edge skills required
Intermediate English proficiency both written and verbal required
Affinity to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Preferred qualifications include Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience with John Crane product portfolio, and proficiency in designing and implementing filtration systems and couplings
Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 USD, based on industry standards and comparable roles in the region.
