About the Role

The Customer Success Engineer position at Quorum Software is a critical role that ensures the success of our clients in the oil and gas industry. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, providing technical support, and ensuring that they are getting the most out of our On Demand Accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients and existing clients converting to OGsys On Demand, providing technical support and training as needed.
  • Handle initial case intake, performing first-line triage support for OGsys On Demand clients and escalating complex issues to tier 3 Support.
  • Interact with clients to provide information and process requests about products and services, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Document and maintain all client information in Salesforce, recording all calls, emails, and customer communication.
  • Develop and maintain OGsys product documentation and online training videos, ensuring that clients have access to the resources they need to succeed.
  • Perform entry-level Quality Assurance testing for OGsys on Demand software development, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for troubleshooting technical problems, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university and/or 2 years of industry experience.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including Salesforce, electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, and to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas accounting principles, and experience with OGsys software.
