As a Business Development Manager, you will be crucial in advancing our sales initiatives, establishing strategic alliances, and broadening our client network while nurturing and enhancing relationships with our clients to strengthen our foothold in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet targets and foster growth in the designated region.
  • Onboard new partners (travel agencies, tour operators, TMCs) and provide comprehensive training on our platform.
  • Develop and sustain robust, long-term relationships with both new and existing partners.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of partners, ensuring first-level support and account management.
  • Engage with current partners to deliver system training and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration.
  • Negotiate, execute, and oversee commercial agreements with partners, including necessary documentation and technical setup.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial agreements by monitoring partner payment processes.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis.
  • Deliver regular detailed reports via CRM and internal systems.
  • Initiate API collaborations with potential and existing partners.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven success in the complete sales cycle, focusing on business development and account management within the travel sector.
  • Market Insight: Profound knowledge of the travel market in the region, including travel trade networks.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of API integration and technology sales.
  • Personal Attributes: Driven, proactive, results-focused, and adept at navigating fast-paced environments with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical Capability: Data-oriented, tech-savvy, with experience in utilizing KPIs to measure success.
  • Global Perspective: Ability to adapt to diverse cultural settings, reflecting our international presence.
  • Self-Starter: Capable of working independently with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Creative Thinker: Ability to devise and implement innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for customer visits, events, or team meetings. Having a personal vehicle is essential.
  • Language Skills: Native Spanish and advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
  • Eligibility: Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the specified countries.
  • Location: Candidates must reside in Colombia or Peru.
