Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Link Worldwide. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our customer relationships, ensuring that our sales and profit budgets are exceeded, and that all costs related to our orders are strictly controlled.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and Develop Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing them with exceptional customer service.
  2. Implement Sales Action Plans: Develop and implement effective sales action plans for all key accounts and regional customers, ensuring that our sales and profit targets are met.
  3. Ensure Customer Service: Identify and resolve all customer issues within standard guidelines, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our products and services.
  4. Provide Professional Presentations: Develop and deliver professional presentations to customers, showcasing our products and services.
  5. Initiate Product Development: Collaborate with our Operations team to initiate new product development and source new concepts based on customer briefs.
  6. Produce Accurate Quotations: Produce accurate customer quotations and ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals.
  7. Communicate Order Status: Communicate order status to all departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  8. Participate in Industry Trade Shows: Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  9. Monitor Competitor's Promotions: Monitor competitor's promotions and activities, and share information with the sales team to ensure we stay ahead of the competition.
  10. Develop and Maintain Customer Files: Develop and maintain accurate, legible customer files, ensuring that all customer information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  11. Submit Reports: Submit all requested reports, including customer meeting reports, forecasts, prospect lists, and monthly sales reports, to the Sales Manager in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Promotional Goods Industry: Proven experience in the promotional goods industry, with a strong understanding of our products and services.
  2. Strong Team Attitude: A strong team attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with our sales team and other departments.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  4. First-Class Organisational Skills: First-class organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Pro-Active Approach: A pro-active approach to managing projects, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  6. Experience of Working in a Team: Experience of working as part of a team, with the ability to contribute to and support the team's goals and objectives.
  7. Keen Eye for Detail: A keen eye for detail, with the ability to understand and manage budgets.
