We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Givaudan. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales and profit growth through direct customer relationships, integrating internal partners in development projects, and following Givaudan's strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Assume lead role for all Givaudan activities for designated accounts, lead and influence strategic account planning, develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts, and manage brief pipeline to achieve growth plans.
- Negotiate and Collaborate: Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application, ensure visibility and exposure for Givaudan at customers, follow up on customer submissions, and manage wins through to production and launch.
- Business Development: Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines, generating a broad base of new business opportunities, and cultivating customer relationships with important decision-makers.
- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or other related fields.
- At least 7 years' successful sales, business development, or customer relationship experience in food, chemical, or related industries, with knowledge of B2B environment.
- Fluent English.
- Determination to achieve with a commitment to Ethics and Compliance.
- Sound ability to create new business by identifying unmet customer needs.
- Apply strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Experience accomplishing all account management steps in the brief handling process; understand how to manage scale-ups.
- Project Management skills.
- Experience managing activities remotely.
