At Boston Scientific, we offer a unique opportunity to excel in a dynamic role that combines medical sales and business development expertise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the growth strategy of our Endobariatrics portfolio in the Andean Region.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or business administration. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of sales growth and experience in commercial and/or marketing roles. Previous experience in bariatric and/or general surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and adjust plans accordingly to ensure short-term and long-term business objectives are met.
  • Partner with product managers to design and execute marketing initiatives to boost business development.
  • Identify new business opportunities by developing relationships with academic institutions, Key Opinion Leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow patient numbers, including cross-sectional patient identification and referral targeting.
  • Maintain contact with major accounts and key relationships, attending customer forums and courses to leverage profitable business ventures.
  • Collaborate with therapy development specialists, channel partners, and sales teams to develop working relationships with key accounts.
  • Educate local sales teams on account management and focus on developing new opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Professional degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and/or marketing roles with proven sales growth.
  • Previous experience in bariatric and/or general surgery (min 2 years).
  • Availability for local, regional, and international travel.
  • Strong skills in strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and data analysis.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, Boston Scientific offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
