About the location: In Cartagena, Colombia, Four Seasons is revitalizing historic buildings dating back to the 16th century. About the role: As a Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will assist the Director of Engineering in all aspects of hotel maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more. You will respond to inquiries and problems efficiently, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction while complying with company policies. Your key responsibilities include:
• Supervising maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
• Implementing preventive maintenance schedules and policies
• Managing stock items and tools, and monitoring distribution
• Collaborating with the Director of Purchasing on purchase requisitions and work orders
What you bring:
• A degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Two to five years of employment in a related position, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, learned through certifications or on-the-job training
• Ability to operate computer equipment and navigate blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulics
• Current license as an Operating Engineer
