Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Autodesk. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will collaborate with our sales teams and authorized resellers to develop and execute strategies for closing deals in the Oil and Gas and Mining sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Engagement
  • Conduct thorough assessments of customer processes to identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Investigate and understand customer business challenges to leverage knowledge of industry trends.
Sales Strategy
  • Capture metrics to justify customer return on investment (ROI) for technical closure.
  • Collaborate with Autodesk partners to ensure adoption of proposed solutions.
Product Development
  • Promote Autodesk's unique value proposition in sales scenarios against competitors.
  • Deliver presentations, demos, and discussions through various mediums.
Customer Support
  • Impact product development and direction based on customer feedback and identified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to develop and execute strategies.
Technical Expertise
  • Support Autodesk resellers by mentoring technical sales activities and creating sales content.
  • Participate in events and tradeshows to showcase Autodesk's solutions targeting customer business challenges.
Relationship Building
  • Understand customer processes to build a trusted relationship, aiding them in their digital transformation journey.
  • Manage the technical evaluation process from qualification to post-sales activities.
Documentation
  • Document customer engagements in Salesforce with relevant information.
Leadership
  • Lead the technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle.

Requirements

  1. Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas and Mining sector.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Skills
  • Knowledge of Autodesk AEC Infrastructure Solutions.
  • AWP and BIM knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
Travel
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
