Position Overview

As a Technical Sales Specialist at Autodesk, you will collaborate with our sales teams and authorized resellers to develop, manage, and execute strategies for closing deals. You will engage with individuals at all levels within a customer's organization to understand their challenges and propose solutions while identifying business opportunities for Autodesk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of customer processes to identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Capture metrics to justify the customer's return on investment (ROI) for technical closure.
  • Promote Autodesk's unique value proposition in sales scenarios against competitors.
  • Impact product development and direction based on customer feedback and identified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to develop and execute strategies.
  • Support Autodesk resellers by mentoring technical sales activities and creating sales content.
  • Participate in events and tradeshows to showcase Autodesk's solutions targeting customer business challenges.
  • Understand customer processes to build a trusted relationship, aiding them in their digital transformation journey.
  • Manage the technical evaluation process from qualification to post-sales activities.
  • Document customer engagements in Salesforce with relevant information.
  • Lead the technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas and Mining sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk AEC Infrastructure Solutions.
  • AWP and BIM knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
