Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Employee IT Services team in Bogotá or Home-Office. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and customer service to employees globally, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and effective fulfillment of requests.

About the Role:
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Employee IT Services team by executing individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of business strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  2. Provide second-level triage and support for employees and employee computing systems, resolving or escalating incidents reported by phone or email.
  3. Facilitate request fulfillment processes and conduct testing of new software releases to ensure successful implementation with no impact on existing environments when required.
  4. Timely completion of assigned administration functions, such as status reports, time reporting, development plans, and setting objectives.
  5. Contribute to additional team needs, including dealing with escalations, participating in small projects, and conducting training sessions for new hires.
  6. Act as a technical lead for new hires coming into the team, supporting team members, and contributing to their growth and knowledge expansion.
  7. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporated into day-to-day activities and decisions.
  8. Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
  9. Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

  • 24/7 environment.
  • Shift work required.
