As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for converting existing leads/partners into new business opportunities, managing and owning a business development pipeline of new business opportunities, and planning and prioritizing sales activities and B2B relationships towards achieving agreed business goals.
Key responsibilities include developing new B2B leads via market research, network events, social selling, marketing campaigns, and any other mode suitable for establishing new prospects, developing and managing trust relationships with a portfolio of partners to ensure client relationship excellence and generate long-lasting partnerships, and communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally and externally to ensure the correct products and services are delivered to partners in a timely manner.
Requirements include institutional business development background, 2+ years of experience in selling investment solutions to Financial institutions, Institutional Clients, Wealth Management, Call Centres, Family Offices, and/or private investors, experience working in the financial sector and with institutional clients, a valid business contact network to build a sales pipeline and close the deals, and proven experience in sales and strategic account management – providing solutions based on customer needs.

Responsibilities include:
- Converting existing leads/partners into new business opportunities
- Managing and owning a business development pipeline of new business opportunities
- Planning and prioritizing sales activities and B2B relationships towards achieving agreed business goals
- Developing new B2B leads via market research, network events, social selling, marketing campaigns, and any other mode suitable for establishing new prospects
- Developing and managing trust relationships with a portfolio of partners to ensure client relationship excellence and generate long-lasting partnerships
- Communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally and externally to ensure the correct products and services are delivered to partners in a timely manner
- Providing input into the future sales vision including new markets, new products, new customers, and new ways of doing business
- Meeting monthly and annual sales targets set together with management
- Identifying opportunities in the market and monitoring general developments of competition
- Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
Requirements include:
- Institutional business development background
- 2+ years of experience in selling investment solutions to Financial institutions, Institutional Clients, Wealth Management, Call Centres, Family Offices, and/or private investors
- Experience working in the financial sector and with institutional clients
- A valid business contact network to build a sales pipeline and close the deals
- Proven experience in sales and strategic account management – providing solutions based on customer needs
- Generally motivated for Sales (Hunting and New Business development) and highly energetic with a good sense of time management
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
- Strong command of English. Additional languages will be an asset
