Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to join our venture studio. The ideal candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients, and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Track individual contributors and their accomplishments to leverage potential opportunities.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners and exploring new opportunities.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities to support business growth.
  • Recommend equity investments based on thorough analysis and evaluation.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
  • Examine risks and potentials for business opportunities to make informed decisions.
  • Estimate partners’ needs and goals to align business deals with their objectives.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential and maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of market research, trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in developing strategic partnerships.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business development strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
