Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to spearhead the management of Anton Paar's Sales and Service Subsidiary in Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of over 20 employees in the Sales and Service Subsidiary in Colombia.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Maintain continuous communication and collaboration with the Regional director for The Americas and the headquarters.
  • Implement and monitor relevant processes to ensure operational excellence.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Continuously improve sales and service activities.
  • Plan and control annual sales and cost budgets.
  • Provide strong leadership and foster the professional development of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, policies, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Sales Director, preferably in the instrumentation/process industry.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. An additional degree in Economics is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales management.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • In-depth understanding of sales and service management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute result-oriented sales strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Profound knowledge of the Colombian market.
