Position Overview

The selected candidate will collaborate within a team dedicated to delivering strategic insights and crafting solutions for intricate business challenges through the configuration, integration, testing, and support of our software applications. New hires will engage in Quorum's Orientation Training program, which emphasizes software technology and equips them with the essential skills and knowledge to embark on a fruitful career. A background in technology or programming is not a prerequisite; however, a strong commitment to continuous learning, technical skill enhancement, problem-solving abilities, and business insight are crucial, as much of the work is conducted under Client guidance, potentially involving significant user interaction and necessitating excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Clients daily to gather business and technical requirements for implementing advanced software solutions.
  • Participating in small project teams on defined tasks or as part of larger initiatives.
  • Engaging in the configuration, enhancement, and testing stages related to software development and deployment.
  • Ensuring the successful completion of individual and team deliverables.
  • Working closely with our software engineering teams to integrate released software into Client environments.
  • Offering guidance and mentorship to less experienced consultants.
  • Involvement in company-building activities, such as recruitment or delivering internal training sessions.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields with an analytical focus.
  • A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 according to US academic standards.
  • Proven technical skills, including the ability to solve complex problems, programming knowledge (C++/C#, Java, VB, SQL, or other programming languages), and familiarity with systems architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, such as managing project timelines and promoting team collaboration.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to assume greater responsibilities.
  • Interest in fostering and developing Client relationships through meaningful interactions.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary, which may involve up to 50% travel.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest or experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Interest or experience in creating and implementing solutions tailored to Client needs.
  • Relevant internship or work experience is highly desirable.

Additional Information

  • Background Check: The successful candidate will need to complete several clearances, including Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification, and Passport/ID validation.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required, as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate must ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
  • Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate must present their professional card or registration information if the role is regulated.
  • Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to starting employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
