Job Description
Responsible for achieving the strategic and sales objectives of the Business Unit (BU), ensuring the proper use of available resources for the commercialization, marketing, and distribution of the company's products in the Colombian markets. Direct, motivate, and develop the BU team to ensure the achievement of proposed objectives and compliance with corporate and local policies. Create, develop, and execute short and long-term marketing plans to ensure market share growth and leadership. Also, identify new business opportunities. Collaborate effectively with peers, support areas, and global regional teams. Actively participate in the Board of Directors of the Animal Health company in Colombia.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the P&L of the Business Unit, managing the Budget, sales forecast, expenses, and contribution margin for Colombia.
- Develop the Business Plan based on marketing opportunities and aligned with local growth objectives and global marketing strategies.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the team.
- Ensure Compliance (Policies, provisions, business plans, marketing events and activities, travel expenses, promotional material, samples, clinical and product studies, among others).
- Support the development of reports with corresponding monitoring activities related to performance and talent management using company tools.
Requirements
- Professionals in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or Business Administration, preferably with a specialization in marketing.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Unit Director in Animal Health and Nutrition BU.
- Experience leading teams of 10 to 15 people.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Knowledge in finance, team management, key account management, and local market regulations.
- Preferred experience in managing distributors/agricultural points.
