About Your Department:

The Business Resilience Office at Amadeus is an integral part of the Risk & Compliance Office, collaborating with teams globally to ensure robust processes and protocols are established to manage significant disruptive events. Role Overview:

As a key member of the Global Risk and Compliance team, reporting to a Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring organizational preparedness for unforeseen events. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating, evaluating, and developing comprehensive crisis and business continuity strategies on a global scale while directly supporting the Americas region.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess a passion for travel, technology, and problem-solving, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities, autonomy, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Business Continuity planning initiatives, ensuring the adequacy of contingency plans for critical business functions and applications.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure that all relevant Amadeus entities are equipped to implement and maintain their Business Continuity Management plans.
  • Collaborate with business units to refine contingency strategies, minimizing the impact of significant disruptions, whether from facility, technology, or application failures.
  • Engage in business unit planning meetings to facilitate the timely identification and resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Business Continuity methodology, including templates, guidelines, and policies.
  • Standardize the business planning process, incorporating forecasting and tracking mechanisms.
  • Manage strategic Risk Assessment processes in collaboration with the Director of Risk.
  • Conduct interviews with senior leadership to identify key risk areas and develop action plans, monitoring progress against identified risks.
  • Handle departmental administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, and documentation, ensuring timely completion.
  • Deliver Business Continuity Planning training and documentation to employees requiring an understanding of the process.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • University degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is advantageous.
  • Strong people-management skills, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness are essential.
  • A collaborative team player accustomed to working in diverse cultural settings.
