About the Role:


The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales and promoting technical products and solutions tailored to the warehousing & distribution industries in the CAC region. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the sectors, strong sales and communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage with potential customers.



Responsibilities:


Product Knowledge:



  • Develop an extensive understanding of warehousing and distribution products and solutions, including warehouse management systems, inventory control software, and tracking technologies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements relevant to the warehousing and distribution sectors.

Sales and Customer Engagement:



  • Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including industry events, trade shows, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in targeted organizations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase how our technical solutions address specific warehousing and distribution needs.
  • Understand customer pain points and requirements to propose tailored solutions.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries, follow up on leads, and prepare comprehensive proposals.

Sales Strategy and Planning:



  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies, goals, and forecasts for the warehousing and distribution segments.
  • Identify target markets and potential customers.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the product development team based on customer insights.

Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Contract Logistics with proven experience in technical sales within the warehousing and distribution industries.
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive attitude toward teamwork.
  • Proficiently utilize data analysis tools such as PowerBI and Excel.
