Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and proactive Business Development Manager to contribute to our growth in the vacation rental sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating new leads, researching job boards, and uncovering new business prospects. A solid background in sales, experience with US or Canadian firms, and proficiency in Hubspot are crucial for this role. The position requires in-office attendance at least three times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new leads and business opportunities within the vacation rental management sector.
  • Conduct thorough research on job boards and other platforms to discover and develop new leads.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, gaining insight into their needs and how our services can fulfill them.
  • Leverage Hubspot for effective lead management and tracking, ensuring timely follow-ups and pipeline oversight.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to devise strategies for lead generation and business expansion.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor actions to identify emerging business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales or business development capacity, ideally within the vacation rental or similar industries.
  • Experience with US or Canadian companies is a must.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven success in achieving sales-related KPIs and lead generation goals.
  • B2B sales experience is essential.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in utilizing and implementing CRM tools.
  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Must reside in Medellín, Colombia, and be prepared to work in the office at least three times a week.
