Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Business Development Manager to contribute to our growth in the vacation rental sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating new business leads, leveraging job boards, and identifying potential opportunities. A solid background in sales, particularly with US or Canadian enterprises, and proficiency in Hubspot is crucial. This role necessitates in-office attendance at least three times per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new leads within the vacation rental management industry.
- Proactively search job boards and other resources to discover and develop new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their requirements and how our offerings can fulfill them.
- Utilize Hubspot for effective lead management and tracking, ensuring timely follow-ups and pipeline oversight.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to devise strategies for lead generation and business growth.
- Provide consistent updates on sales activities, pipeline health, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor actions to uncover new business prospects.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a sales or business development capacity, ideally within the vacation rental or similar sectors.
- Experience with US or Canadian businesses is mandatory.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven success in achieving sales-related KPIs and lead generation targets.
- B2B sales experience is essential.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with CRM tools is necessary.
- Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Must reside in Medellín, Colombia, and be prepared to attend the office at least three times weekly.
