About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Lead to join our team at United Airlines. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and insightful service to customers, resolving travel issues and making their experience memorable.
  2. Team Leadership: Work with team members to resolve customer problems, provide coaching and feedback, and encourage goal achievement and accountability.
  3. Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all airport facilities are running smoothly and efficiently.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent secondary school leaving certificate.
  2. Experience: Proven track record of reliability, professional image and appearance, strong communication skills, and conflict resolution and decision-making abilities.
  3. Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  4. Availability: Ability to work any shift, any day, including holidays, weekends, and nights in a 24-hour operation.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Experience: 2-3 years of previous work experience in airport operations.
  3. International GSC Qualified: Working knowledge of the region and ability to obtain a U.S. Visa.
