We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia.
Rockwell Automation is a global leader in industrial automation and information solutions. Our mission is to help manufacturers around the world improve their productivity, sustainability, and agility.
The successful candidate will provide remote technical support to customers by phone, email, and chat in Spanish. The ideal candidate will have experience with Rockwell Automation products, including Powerflex Drives, Motion, Automation, and industrial components.
The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via various communication channels.
- Resolves technical issues related to Rockwell Automation products.
- Collaborate with the Global Remote Support team, customers, and coworkers to resolve complex issues.
- Document and record all interactions and solutions in the ticket management system.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the use of applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 6 months engineering and/or field/remote support experience.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation Products: Powerflex Drives, Motion, Automation, and industrial components.
- Advanced English level.
- Availability to work rotating shifts according to the operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience in the field of industrial automation and instrumentation.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience or knowledge in Rockwell Automation products such as: FactoryTalk View SE, FactoryTalk View ME, Industrial Networks (ControlNet, Ethernet, DeviceNet, Modbus or DH+), Large and Small Controllers, Remote I/O or Panelviews.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
We offer a hybrid schedule, which includes working from home one day a week and three days in the office.
