Job Summary

This role involves working closely with the solution consultant and sales team to develop and implement effective bidding strategies for project wins. As an Industrial Automation Solutions Developer, your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating proposals for automation solutions tailored to meet customer needs.
  • Evaluating customer RFQs to establish a competitive advantage for Rockwell Automation.
  • Understanding customer goals, operations, challenges, and requirements to align our products, solutions, and services.
  • Validating and endorsing the technical aspects of proposed solutions.
  • Providing technical support to the sales group, participating in site visits, and discussing technical details with customers or consultants.
  • Achieving validation of technical aspects of proposed solutions.
  • Developing requests for approvals on bids following established procedures.
  • Collaborating with partners to secure competitive pricing from third-party suppliers.
  • Working with Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure accurate estimation of time and resources required for projects.
  • Contributing to customer negotiations during the bidding phase.
  • Managing bids/proposals efficiently.
The Essentials

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
The Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience and skills may be considered:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial systems and automation solutions delivery business.
  • 2 years of experience in project execution related to industrial automation (DCS, SCADA, PLC, HMI, SIS, engineering, FAT, SAT, SIT, system architecture preparation, drives selection, and other components of automation systems) within various industries such as Consumer Goods, Mining, Chemical, and others.
  • Project management knowledge.
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills.
