Sterling Partners is a leading provider of innovative education solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in LATAM for our short term program portfolio.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic-minded and sales-driven individual with a strong drive for results. The ideal candidate will have exemplary customer service skills, be able to foster a team-based customer service ethic, and have a proven track record of working collaboratively in a matrix governance model.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing the regional business development growth strategy, leading on its execution and successful delivery to unlock new sales channels focused on short term and summer programs. They will also manage relationships with new partnerships post-contract and work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Product teams to ensure channel partners are given the materials, knowledge and skills needed to reach desired levels of performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of the regional business development growth strategy and lead on its execution and successful delivery
- Ongoing relationship management and maintenance of new partnerships post-contract
- Attend and deliver training sessions, information sessions, and other similar events to drive and support channel partner performance to drive sales
- Work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Product teams to ensure channel partners are given the materials, knowledge, and skills needed to reach desired levels of performance
- Build relationships with both active and inactive sub-agents with the aim of raising portfolio-wide levels of performance and provide accurate and timely performance forecasts and introduce tactics to address challenges and any barriers to achievement of revenue target
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or a related area
- 3-5 years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry
- Strong sales and account management skills
- Strategic-minded and sales-driven, with a strong drive for results
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while remaining pressure-resilient
- Language requirements: Spanish and English (fluent) are a must
- Ability to work in the hiring location without sponsorship, and willingness to travel regularly
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location
This role is based in LATAM, but involves frequent travel within the region and occasionally to the United States.
