Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in LATAM from strategy through execution for our growing short term program portfolio. As a pivotal member of the Marketplace leadership team, you will drive revenue growth for Sterling Partners' short term programs including summer programs.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of the regional business development growth strategy, and lead on its execution and successful delivery to unlock new sales channels focused on short term and summer programs.
- Ongoing relationship management and maintenance of new partnerships post-contract.
- Attend and deliver training sessions, information sessions and other similar events to drive and support channel partner performance to drive sales.
- Work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Product teams to ensure channel partners are given the materials, knowledge and skills needed to reach desired levels of performance.
- Build relationships with both active and inactive sub-agents with the aim of raising portfolio-wide levels of performance and provide accurate and timely performance forecasts and introduce tactics to address challenges and any barriers to achievement of revenue target.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings relevant to short term program offerings in the US.
- Participate in regular product trainings with key partners.
- Gather insights from channel partners to continuously improve our products and services.
- Contribute to product pricing analysis and strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations or a related area.
- 3-5 years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry.
- Strong sales and account management skills.
- Strategic-minded and sales-driven, with strong drive for results.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while remaining pressure-resilient.
- Strong working knowledge of key international markets, programs, and products would be a plus.
- Language requirements: Spanish and English (fluent) are a must.
- Ability to work in the hiring location without sponsorship, and willingness to travel regularly.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
