Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Information Technology division at J.S. Held LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to play a key role in supporting our accident reconstruction practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level technical support for troubleshooting software, data storage systems, laptops, and other technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage integrations, configurations, updates, and changes to various systems, including Microsoft, Adobe, and Autodesk program suites.
  • Effectively onboard new employees by ensuring all required systems are functioning correctly.
  • Reactively and proactively address issues related to in-field laptop and software support.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address threats and vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar support role handling different types of systems with varying technical complexity.
  • Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and managing software services, such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Autodesk applications, including updating, upgrading, and compatibility with other mainstream products.
  • Strong knowledge of virtual desktop environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume support environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience managing a large number of devices.
  • Experience with onboarding and exits in a complex tech environment.
Physical and Mental Job Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including flexible work arrangements, generous annual leave policy, and comprehensive medical insurance.
