At J.S. Held, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our information technology division. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting services for our accident reconstruction practice. This role involves addressing technological issues (hardware and software) for our teams in the office and in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide near-real-time support for troubleshooting software, data storage systems, laptops, and other technical issues
  • Manage integrations, configurations, updates, and changes to different systems including Microsoft, Adobe, and Autodesk program suites
  • Effectively onboard new employees ensuring all the required systems are functioning correctly
  • Reactively and proactively address issues related to in-field laptop and software support
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address threats and vulnerabilities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar support role handling different types of systems of different technical complexity
  • Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and managing software services such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Autodesk applications
  • Strong knowledge of virtual desktop environments and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment
