About the Position

The Inside Sales Account Specialist is responsible for achieving revenue and gross profit objectives by effectively managing a designated customer portfolio from an internal sales perspective. This role focuses on cultivating valuable customer relationships through efficient order processing and adept handling of client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive order management, which includes placing orders, ensuring the release of holds, and providing customers with tracking details upon shipment (25%)
  • Proactively engage with and develop a specified account portfolio while identifying new business opportunities to meet growth and profitability goals (25%)
  • Enhance customer experience by responding to all inquiries related to quotes, bids, and orders through various communication channels (phone, email, instant messaging, fax) (10%)
  • Discuss and promote TD SYNNEX's value-added services, including the TD SYNNEX Reserve Program and Configuration Services, as necessary (10%)
  • Utilize negotiation skills to effectively enhance TD gross margin through up-selling and cross-selling initiatives (5%)
  • Build and strengthen relationships with all TD SYNNEX departments and vendor representatives to serve as a liaison for customers (5%)
  • Gather competitive, market, and pricing insights and relay feedback to relevant stakeholders (5%)
  • Participate in mandatory vendor training sessions, lunch-and-learn events, and seminars (5%)
  • Provide support to other sales teams when additional coverage is required (5%)
  • Demonstrate leadership within the team by serving as a subject matter expert (5%)
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma
  • College or University degree in Sales/Marketing preferred

Work Experience:

  • Experience in Sales
  • Background in Call Center/Retail within the Computer Industry

Additional Relevant Experience:

  • Familiarity with Software/Hardware/Networking products
  • Proficiency in Windows, Office Suite applications, and CRM tools
