On behalf of Tipalti, SD Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior KYC Compliance Analyst to join a rapidly growing fintech organization.

The KYC Compliance Analyst will be responsible for onboarding clients and managing risk through thorough research and adherence to compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze new applications submitted by various organizations wishing to utilize Tipalti's payment platform.
- Examine supporting documentation to confirm compliance with standards during the application review process.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders via email to gather all necessary information for the evaluation process.
- Conduct comprehensive business assessments of prospective clients using proprietary tools and external data sources.
- Take ownership of the application approval process, making final decisions on client applications.
- Review existing accounts on an annual basis.
- Collaborate with different departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure quality control by reviewing high-risk and complex cases.
- Verify that KYC controls are functioning effectively.
- Establish and oversee KYC policies.
- Manage escalations related to high-risk clients and perform Enhanced Due Diligence.
- Serve as a primary contact for compliance-related issues from other teams.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in risk analysis, client relations, and the fintech sector.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with KYC tools and compliance technologies.
- Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Exhibit Tipalti's core value of ownership, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the UK/EU.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in financial due diligence and transaction analysis is essential.
- In-depth understanding of KYC, BSA, and AML regulations to identify and escalate significant risks.
- Outstanding problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in startup environments or financial services is advantageous.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
